Privacy Policy

The short version

FDE.jobs is free for job seekers. We don't require an account to browse or apply, we don't sell your data, we don't run advertising, and we don't build behavioural or cross-site profiles. We use one third-party analytics service, Google Analytics, and we run it in cookieless mode. The only personal data we hold is the email address of people who ask us for job alerts.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which roles and pages are popular. It runs with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation, which means it operates in cookieless mode: no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no persistent identifier is stored on your device.

In that mode Google receives limited technical information with each page view, including the page URL, the referring page, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser details. We use it only to produce aggregated counts. Google acts as our processor for this data. Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so the data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

When you click an "Apply" link, we record an anonymous click count (no IP is stored in clear, no cookies are set) and forward you to the employer's own application page with a utm_source=FDE.jobs tag so they can credit us. Anything you submit on the employer's page is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

We also send that click to our upstream job data provider so the referral can be credited to the right source. The record is limited to the job, the time, an approximate country and the referring page. It contains no IP address, no user agent and nothing that identifies you.

Job alerts

If you sign up for email alerts we store your email address, the filters you chose and how often you want to hear from us. We use it for nothing else: no newsletters you didn't ask for, no sharing, no selling. Every alert email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and we delete your record when you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use only the cookies strictly necessary to operate the site. Google Analytics does not set cookies on FDE.jobs because consent defaults to denied. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-party services

Three third parties are involved in running the site. Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) receives the cookieless page-view data described above; you can read Google's privacy policy for details. Our email provider receives your address only to deliver the alerts you subscribed to. Our upstream job data provider supplies our listings and receives the anonymous apply-click record described above.

Where any of this data is transferred outside your region, it is handled under those providers' own terms and safeguards.

Job listings

Job listings displayed on FDE.jobs are drawn from publicly available sources. If you are an employer and would like a listing removed or corrected, contact us and we'll handle it promptly.
